Don and the marina staff made our labor day weekend a perfect one, The slip was excellent for our 24 ft. pontoon. All the staff, from the owner to the youngsters hauling the trash and dipping the minnows were friendly and professional. The marina is top notch. My 80 year old mother can park in the senior parking lot and walk to the slips and restrooms with ease.
Great place they have really good breakfast, and slip, boat ramp and bait services at Truman Lake. I'll be back.
We have been to the restaurant several times and always had a great experience. The management is an example to imitate.

We have been renting slips on the summer holidays at Long Shoal Marina for over 20 years, and in the last 5 years it just keeps getting better.
Each time we have been to Long Shoal Marina everyone has been extremely friendly and helpful. We have eaten at the restaurant multiple times and the food has always been good. The restaurant even has a liquor bar. Outside restaurant seating is also available if you so choose. You can get gas there, but it closes at 3:00, so plan ahead. They provide a nice covered fish cleaning station. Public restrooms are available and easily accessible outside the store/restaurant area. A closer parking lot is provided for those 65 and older. It's designated handicap parking also but that particular lot is not wheelchair accessible. Kids will enjoy feeding the carp that hang out around the dock's ramp.
